Life Lately

We went to see the Wolf Of Wall Street and although the story and writing were amazing there were parts were I could really feel the 3 hour run time. This film isn't for the faint hearted the sex scenes are a plenty and there is ALOT of drug use. However it was a very good film and I can really see why it has been nominated for all those oscars. I would highly recommend (if you're not easily offended!)

Sherlock was back! I am a HUGE fan of sherlock holmes; books, tv series and feature films. I highly anticipated this series but must admit was a little disappointed. Compared to the other series this one didn't have the same effect and there were odd moments that just didn't suit the format. Perhaps the end result was a little rushed as mr. Cumberbatch has sooo many other projects (naturally).

And finally we went to a new restaurant in the Albert Dock called Smugglers Cove. It was AAAMMAAZZING! I loved the theme and the layout was incredible. I had doubts it would be a tacky theme and be full of screaming kids but I couldn't have been more wrong. If you're ever in the area I highly recommend! There are rum based cocktails and menu's printed on treasure maps.

SS14 Trend Forecast Gingham

A perfect trend for summer, it encompasses the magic of the Wizard of Oz and the rough, red neck attitude of Ellie May Clampett.

The cami is a very simple item and is perfect for the (hopefully) soon warm weather. It's light and vesataille and would make a perfect wardrobe staple.

#New Year, Same Me! (Small Change)

So all this talk of New Year resolutions has got me thinking and I don't really believe in it. Not to say that I don't think making  life changes such as giving up smoking or drinking less isn't good, because I really do and if the context of the new year is the better motivator then hey more power to you. However I don't think people should be guilted into making huge life changes that are just too difficult to follow. Instead we should emphasise the prospect of just making a small life change instead.
I fully support people who want to drop 5 dress sizes, give up chocolate or save money by never socialising again but for me I think vicously punishing yourself by trying to live your life minus something you enjoy is just daft. I mean YOLO right?
So I am advocating New Year, Same Me, Small Change.
My small change is to treat my body a little better.
Meaning exercise more, eat better, take supplements and drink a little less.
Won't you join me?

So this is christmas, and what have you done?

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year Y'all

Well that's it for another year! Hope you all had a fab time, I know I did. First another apology for being MIA again but this holiday had me pretty busy visiting family and friends, partying and of course eating waayy too much!

Anywhoo am back now with many posts planned but first a little catch up of the recent festivities.

I never bothered posting about this nail art as I found it pretty hard and pinickity!

I was a very lucky girl and got pretty spoilt this year! I'll be doing subsequent posts about some of my lovely presents as they were fairly beauty based.

I'll be doing another post pretty soon discussing New Year Resolutions etc
