Be My Valentine..

So Valentines is nearly here again and while I absolutely live by it is a holiday created up by Hallmark I don't mind having a day set aside thats just for some lovey dovey fun. With that in mind I picked up this perfectly themed set in Next for 16 pound altogether.

Happy Valentine! ;)

Nail Rock- Caviar Art Review

Pretty mixed feelings about this product at first I was like Wow looks like sweets! But in terms of application it's like oh what a bloody effort. The instructions are as followed-

First paint nails in provided polish, twice.

Then dip nails into far too small pot and enter extremely tricky, fiddly and impossible process of trying to dab off excess without spilling contents everywhere and making a right mess.

And voila! Well actually voila after 15-20 yes almost 20 minutes of waiting for them to dry and set. Process takes so long am actually writing this post whilst still waiting. Also kinda stings if you get any stuck under your nail!

Overall although they do look pretty cool I'd say they're good as a one off,  I can't imagine they'll stay very well put after an average week filled with pretty normal day to day activities also I don't really like the thought of dedicating so much time on such an activity that seems a little futile, still look how pretty!

So January is nearly been and gone and while most have the back to work blues I am trying desperately hard to avoid going back to the grind. After wishing to eat healthier and exercise more January seems to have escaped any such vows, alas on sunday I will be heading back to Leeds and therefore back to the drawing board with the lines- I must try harder, I must do better in-printed in my head as this is the last part of my last year of what could potentially be my last part of the education system and I have to enter the big wide world.

So here goes!

T'was the season!

Well it's pretty much all over now another year gone. Sadly although I had a lovely time of eating and drinking (My christmas tradition cherry brandy 3)! It could have gone better; some relatives didn't make dinner due to illness, I hardly took any photos as you can see and my new year didn't exactly go off with a bang but if anything its given me a resolution or a resolutions.

This year I-
* Need to take more photographs.
* Arrange more social activities.
* Be better organised and take better care of myself.. to an extent.

Am sure it's all do-able although I don't believe in resolutions, I think if you wanted to be a certain way etc you'd be like it already, theres no point dramatically altering yourself to a way that will leave you unhappy and in many cases hungry.

Instead I think we should set ourselves small goals or incorporate something new in our lives that will lead to some small improvement and happiness like going for a walk every day or eating an extra piece of fruit or even just taking a vitamin.

Anyway I hope you all had a lovely holiday and find getting back to the grind not too soul destroying!
